Compensation

The success or failure of any organization is largely related to the way it manages its human resources. One of the University’s most important resources is its employees, therefore, the Staff Compensation Program must be structured to attract, motivate, develop and reward a high quality staff who help UCR succeed in fulfilling its mission. Compensation planning and management must be structured and consistent, but remain flexible and responsive.

Our services include:

  • Developing and implementing merit and award programs.
  • Developing and implementing salary plans.
  • Maintaining the Title and Pay Plan, including pay rates, title codes, and classification specifications.
  • Conducting equity reviews and researching competitive pay practices.
